Core Martial Arts
crca logo CRCA WING CHUN GUNG FU is the foundation of all combat training in our program. Wing Chun is one of the last high-level arts created from the Southern Shaolin temple, also written Ving Tsun or Wing Tsun means "spring chant" or "forever spring". This Chinese art is the most scientific art engineered for the human body and it is considered as one of the most effective close-range combat art ever invented. The Chinese army integrated this art into their combat training as one can learn to be an effective fighter within only 3 to 6 months.

jeet kune do logo JEET KUNE DO (JKD) is a combat philosophy and system that we practice extensively to in addition to the foundation training. The JKD backbone concepts are Wing Chun based because it is Bruce Lee's mother-art while its heavily influenced by fencing and Western boxing. Jeet Kune Do means "Way of the intercepting fist" and Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do means "Bruce Lee's way of the intercepting fist" because Bruce invented Jeet Kune Do.

muay thai logo MUAY THAI is Thaiboxing that have been around for several thousand years. This is a devastating art that is known as "The Science of the Eight Limbs" using the hands, elbows, shins and knees. The Thai Military uses a modified form of Muay Thai for their training and it is their national brutal sport. Thaiboxing is an essential hard-style, aggressive and high-performance art that is a must for all martial artists; therefore it is an essential part of CCU training program.

kali, escrima, silat logo PENTJAK-SILAT or SILAT from Indonesia also called BERSILAT in Malaysia have over 250 combat systems practiced throughout Southeast Asia. Many Silat systems are self-defense fighting arts which use counter-attacks along with intricate empty-hand techniques, complex joint locks, unique footwork, sweeps and throws. Moreover, many systems also imitate wild animals fighting such as Harimau "tiger" or Elang "eagle". Because there are profound similarities among SILAT and WING CHUN techniques, we often integrate the two arts together during advanced-level training. The concepts, principles, and techniques of the arts also compliment each other perfectly to create a beautiful fusion during combat.

kali, escrima, silat logo FILIPINO MARTIAL ARTS (FMA) encompass Kali, Escrima, Arnis, Arnis de Mano all refers to the weapons based martial arts often associated with stick, sword, and knife fighting. "Escrima" and "Arnis" are the two most common names used in the Philippines while the word "Kali" is more popularly used in Europe and the United States. FMA is an extremely evolved art that uses weapons as the extension of ones arms for striking, slashing, cutting etc…while one can interchangeably fight empty hands based on the weapon movements learned. FMA are few of the only combat arts that start with weapons before learning empty hand techniques. The empty hands techniques are surprisingly similar to both SILAT and WING CHUN as well. The weapons training in our program enhances ones coordination, strength and environmental adaptation.
